The three concepts of Green,High-tech and people's Olympic Games developed by Beijing 2008 as primary objectives will be prominently featured and harnessed in the effort to organize and stage an outstanding Games.

The People's Olympic Games is a thematic emphasis designed to ensure that the diversified cultural and educational programs of the Games appeal to the broadest cross section of social groups. The objective is to promote traditional Chinese culture, and to showcase the history and development of Beijing and China. People will be widely encouraged to participate in the preparation for the Games in an effort to increase the cohesion and pride of the Chinese nation through this global event
